SkyFlakes is a popular brand of crackers that originated in the Philippines. They are known for their light, crisp texture and slightly salty flavor. Manufactured by Monde M.Y. San Corporation, SkyFlakes have been a staple snack in Filipino households since the 1960s.

For this brand, I led the visual direction for two distinct campaigns, each with its own unique narrative and strategic focus.

The first campaign drew inspiration from classic Filipino sayings, creatively integrating these familiar expressions into both the copy and visual storytelling to produce playful, culturally resonant content. To bring these ideas to life, we developed a charming illustrative style that added warmth and a handcrafted feel to the visuals — a deliberate choice that aligned with the campaign’s nostalgic tone. Due to a tight client budget, we opted for stop-motion animation and mixed-media techniques, allowing us to maximize visual impact while keeping production efficient. The result was a series of lighthearted, scroll-stopping pieces that not only sparked recognition through humor and cultural references but also reinforced SkyFlakes as a beloved, everyday companion in Filipino life.

The second campaign centered around versatile food pairings, showcasing imaginative and appetizing ways consumers can enjoy SkyFlakes in their everyday meals. SkyFlakes is essential for the working class that's why we opted for dishes that are also budget-friendly.
